Obama To Reverse Bush Rule On Coal

The U.S. Interior Department has said it will try to overturn a Bush administration rule that made it easier for coal mining companies to dump mountaintop debris into valley streams. The action is the latest blow to the coal industry, which defends mountaintop mining as a safer, cheaper alternative to traditional underground mining.

Weststar Resources confirmed Thermal Coal Quality property

Weststar Resources Corp. declared that it is in receipt of results for 16 coal samples from drill hole A, where a total of 17.7 meters of coal is indicated, and potentially up to 4 meters of coal was left in the hole as suggested by gamma logs and drill core. For full story, click here

Ennore Coke will begin land acquisition for Dhamara plant soon
