<p>North American Gem Inc. (NAG) is a Canadian based junior resource company with a focus on coal production. The majority of the Company’s interests are located in Kentucky &#8211; historically one of the best coal producing regions in North America. NAG has two fully-permitted mines in Kentucky, and is currently seeking other leases in the same area. In July 2010, the Kentucky Department of Natural Resources (KDNR) fully approved the mining application for Mine #2, which allows for immediate production to begin. The Company also has interests in coal, gold, copper, and molybdenum in Canada.</p>
<h2><strong>What We Like about North American Gem</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Flagship mines located on the Blue Gem Coal Seam – a highly sought after strain of coal, best suited for the production of silicon metals.</li>
<li>Proposed future mine sites also contain Blue Gem Coal as well as Jellico coal.</li>
<li>Kentucky Mine #1 has the capacity to produce 12,000 tons of coal per month.</li>
<li>NAG is in final permitting process for Swan Pond Lease – estimated to produce 25,000 tons of coal per month.</li>

<p>The Company is in the final stages of the permit process for this property, which is estimated to produce 25,000 tons of coal per month. NAG intends to use highwall mining techniques, a form of surface mining that evolved from auger mining, on this property.</p>

<p><strong>Charles Desjardins</strong> - <em>President and Director (2003 &#8211; Present)</em><br />
Mr. Desjardins brings more than 20 years of public company experience in the areas of finance and public company management. He is the President and CEO of Tandem Capital Group Inc., which was active in the investor relations field during the mid 1990&#8242;s. Mr. Desjardins was also the past President of Victory Ventures Inc., which began as a mineral exploration company, and subsequently became Global Investment.Com Financial Inc.. As President and Director of North American Gem Inc. and Solitaire Minerals Corp. Mr. Desjardins has raised over 12 million dollars over the last 3 years.</p>
<p><strong>Egil Livgard</strong> - <em>Director (2006 &#8211; Present)</em><br />
Mr. Livgard has been a director of the company since July, 2006. Mr. Livgard has been a self-employed Consulting Geologist from 1970 to present. He has been a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia since 1969. He is a director of North America Gem Inc. and Totem Minerals Inc. He is a former director of Hulldra Silver Inc., Big Valley Inc., Orko Gold Corporation, Tapango Resources Ltd., Tapestry Resources Corp., Harlow Ventures Inc., Golden Star Resources Corp. and Uganda Gold Minerals Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours Geology) Degree from the University of British Columbia (1960).</p>
<p><strong>Peter Dickie</strong> - <em>Director (2009 &#8211; Present)</em><br />
Peter Dickie has been a director of the company since 2009. Mr. Dickie brings over 20 years of business experience with both public and private companies holding numerous senior management positions. A graduate of both the University of British Columbia, and the University of Victoria (B.C.), his background includes 4 years in the Securities industry with Jones, Gable &amp; Co. Currently, he sits on the board of a total of six public companies, including Lateegra Gold Corp., and four others in a fiscal and management advisory capacity.</p>
<p><strong>Bruce Lock</strong> - <em>Director (2003 &#8211; Present)</em><br />
Mr. Lock brings over 20 years of business experience with both public and private companies holding numerous senior management positions.</p>

<strong>Mr. Adam Noel, P.Eng</strong><br />
Mr. Adam Noel is a professional geologist, a mining and environmental engineer with over 40 years Canadian and International experience in providing project services to the mining industry. He has managed a wide range of projects in the resource industry and has hands on experience in geological exploration, mine geology, mine evaluation and operations as well as project environmental assessment and remediation. Mr. Adam Noel also has extensive knowledge of coal field geology and coal mine design, earth-moving practices, together with veteran experience in integrating mining operations with business and regulatory requirements.</p>
<p><strong>Mr. Alan A. Johnson, B.Sc., P.Geol</strong><br />
Mr. Alan Johnson is a coal geologist with 40 years of experience in the industry. From 1971-1978, Mr. Alan Johnson led the team that discovered and did the early development work on the Quintette coal property in Northeast British Columbia. &#8220;Quintette&#8221; became the cornerstone of the Northeast Coal Development that became the largest new coal development in British Columbia&#8217;s history. Mr. Alan Johnson also managed coal exploration on numerous projects in Northeast B.C., Alberta and Northwest B.C. from 1978 &#8211; 1988.</p>
<p>In 1988 Mr. Johnson took a leave of absence from Gulf when he was elected to the House of Commons as Member of Parliament for Calgary North. In this capacity he also served as Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee for Energy Mines and Resources (1991-1993).</p>
<p>From 1999 to 2001 he was President of The Coal Association of Canada and during that time he founded the Zero Emission Coal Alliance that became ZECA Corporation that he headed as Managing Director &amp; CEO from 2001 to 2004.</p>
<p><strong>William J. Grable</strong><br />
Mr. Grable brings 35 years of experience in every aspect of the Coal, Limestone, and Sand mining industries to NAG.</p>
<p>Mr. Grable&#8217;s experience will help expedite the permitting process as well as provide invaluable insight as NAG continues to increase its mining operations in the State of Kentucky. He is the former Commissioner of the Department for Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement, under Governor Wilkinson of Kentucky. He also served 8 years as an advisor on energy to Governor Patton during his appointment as Executive Director of the Kentucky Coal Council and has advised the U.S. Department of Energy as a member of the Southern States Energy Board when attending the Southern Governors&#8217; Association.</p>
