Polish Coal Companies Planning Capacity Expansion
Platts reported that coal miners in Poland will invest about $1.26 billion to build new capacity for coal-fired power generation.
As quoted in the market news:
Europe’s largest coking coal producer, Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa, plans to invest more than Zloty 1 billion to build 300 MW of cogeneration capacity by 2015 to enable it to stop buying energy externally.
