Adaro:2009 coal output at 40.6 mln Tonnes

On Monday, Indonesia's largest coal producer by market value, PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO.JK) announced that the company produced 40.6 million tonnes of coal in 2009, up from 38.5 million tonnes in 2008.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The firm sold 41.4 million tonnes of coal, including sales from third party coal trading, in 2009, up slightly from 41.1 million tonnes in 2008.
